A graveside service was held Tuesday afternoon at Ceres Memorial Park for Helen Schindler Beccard, 87, of Queen Valley, Ariz. The former Ceres woman died Friday, June 3, 2005 at Hospice of the Valley, Tempe, Ariz.
The McHenry Chapel of Franklin & Downs was in charge of arrangements.
Born Jan. 15, 1918, Mrs. Beccard was a native of Nebraska City, Neb., and lived in Queen Valley for three months. She previously lived in Turlock, Ceres and Modesto for 40 years. Mrs. Beccard was a bookkeeper for her family's A&L Products for more than 20 years.
She leaves behind her husband, Dale W. Beccard of Arizona; two sons, Alan Beccard of Modesto and Larry Beccard of Arizona; and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
