A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Missionary Baptist Church for Ivan T. Caulkins, 82, of Ceres. He died at his residence Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004.
Born Feb. 12, 1922, Mr. Caulkins lived in Ceres for 82 years. He was a rural mail carrier for 25 years. Mr. Caulkins served in the U.S. Air Force.
He leaves behind his wife, Dixie Caulkins of Ceres; his son, David Caulkins of Oak Ridge, Ore.; two stepdaughters, Sue Eastman of Turlock and Zoa Langford of Modesto; his brother, Ralph Caulkins of Ceres; his sister, Evelyn Keck of Orange; and 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
