A Mass will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at St. Jude's Catholic Church, 3824 Mitchell Rd., Ceres, for Jose R. Amezcua, 41, of Modesto. He died June 16, 2009 in Arizona.
Burial will follow at Ceres Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel.
Born Aug. 30, 1967 in Mexico City, Jose worked for Stanislaus Foods for over 20 years.
He leaves behind his four children, Pamela Amezcua, Ricardo Amezcua, Jose Angel Amezcua and Alonso Amezcua; his parents, Estela Cabral and Ricardo Amezcua; his brothers, Gustavo Amezcua, Victor Amezcua and Carlos Amezcua; and two sisters, Mercedes Amezcua, and Elisa Amezca.
