A funeral was held Saturday morning at Allen Mortuary in Turlock for Kalwand Singh, 73, of Ceres. He died Sunday, June 5, 2005 at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
Cremation followed the service.
Born June 5, 1932, Mr. Singh was a native of India and lived in Ceres six months. He was a farmer for more than 50 years. Mr. Singh was a member of the Hughson Sikh Temple.
He leaves behind his wife, Baldev Kaur of Ceres; four children, Parshotam Singh of Ceres, Karmjit Kaur of Hughson, and Suwarn Singh and Parmjit Kaur, both of India; his sister, Kalwand Kaur of Los Angeles; and 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
