A graveside service was held Friday at Ceres Memorial Park for Lillian Lavon Henry Horton, 71, of Ceres. She died May 24, 2005 at her home.
Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Born Aug. 14, 1933, Mrs. Horton was a native of Castle Rock, Colo., and had lived in Ceres since 1941. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and collecting Indian arrowheads, as well as music and traveling.
She leaves behind four children, Sandra Lucas of Modesto, Michael Horton of Ceres, Gina Karpan of Columbia and Calvin Horton of Des Moines, Iowa; her brother, Delbert Henry of Escalon; her sister, Judy Berryhill of Ceres; and 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister, and one grandchild.
