Margaret Beach
A chapel service was held Monday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Margaret Madeline Beach, 86, of Hughson. She died Oct. 31, 2007.
Lakewood Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Born March 3, 1921, Mrs. Beach was born in Ripon to Manuel and Rose Souza. She was a resident of Hughson for over 50 years. Marge met and married husband Ed in 1946. She worked as the office manager for Loeb's Department store in Modesto for 30 years. Marge was an avid reader and loved crocheting, knitting, traveling and spending time with her family.
For the last two years she lived with and was cared for by her son Ken, daughter-in-law Frances and granddaughter Anita.
She leaves behind her husband of 61 years, Ed Beach of Hughson; her sons, Ken Beach and his wife Frances, and Gene Beach and his wife, Patty Beach; and five grandchildren, Anita, Michael, Kevin, Todd and Katie. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Evelyn and Helen.
