Services were held Saturday in the Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Pickens, S.C. for Mason Wayman Mauldin, of Pickens, S.C. he died Nov. 1, 2005 at Cannon Memorial Hospital.

Burial was at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.

Mr. Mauldin was a native of Pickens County. He was retired from the Air Force, having served in World War II and the Vietnam War.

He leaves behind his wife, Margaret Shehan Mauldin of Pickens; two children, Ceres teacher Kitty Herrick of Modesto, and Tommy Mauldin of Oregon; two sisters, Jessie Holder and Milwee Schooly, both of Pickens; his brother, Dr. David Mauldin of Pickens; and eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
