Mileta Kilroy

A memorial service was held Monday at Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Modesto for Mileta Farr Kilroy, 92, of Modesto. She died Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at Evergreen Rehabilitation Care.

Visitation was Sunday at Salas Brothers Chapel.

Born Dec. 15, 1912, Mrs. Kilroy was a native of Keyes and lived in Modesto all her life. She was a piano teacher for 40 years. Mrs. Kilroy was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames, the Music Teacher Association and the Stanislaus Genealogy Society.

She leaves behind her husband, Cecil E. Kilroy of Modesto; two daughters, Karen McCabe of Modesto and Joan Podesto of Lafayette; and 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Kilroy; and a grandson.
