A funeral service was held Thursday at the Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs for Oscar M. Lugo, 67, of Ceres. He died on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004 at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
Burial was at Ceres Memorial Park.
Born Sept. 23, 1937, Mr. Lugo was a native of Huntsville, Texas, and lived in Ceres for six years. He previously resided in San Jose where he was employed as an equipment mechanic for Keystone Steel and Wire.
He leaves behind his wife, Rosario Segura Lugo of Ceres; six children, Hugo Lugo and Carlos Lugo, both of Ceres, and Debbie Patino, Dorinda Baker, Adrian Lugo and Oscar Lugo, all of Porterville; three stepchildren, Eva Lopez-Matola and Irene Baltazar, both of Ceres, and David Lopez of Modesto; three brothers, Albert Lugo of Oregon, Daniel Lugo of Ceres and Fernando Flores of Mexico; three sisters, Rachel Cook of Colusa, and Annie Lastra and Lidia Solis, both of Oregon; and nine grandchildren.
