A Mass was held Friday at St. Jude's Catholic Church for Rafael Rodriguez, 33, of Modesto. He died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005 in Fresno.
Burial was at Ceres Memorial Park under the direction of Evins Funeral Home.
Born Aug. 21, 1971, Mr. Rodriguez was a native of Aguascalientes, Mexico, and lived in South Modesto for 15 years. He was a construction worker in Fresno for 10 years.
He leaves behind his wife, Beverly Rodriguez; three children, Janet Rodriguez of Tulare, and Claudia Rodriguez and Rafael Rodriguez, both of Oakland; his mother, Amparo Rodriguez of San Leandro; seven brothers, Antonio Rodriguez, Raul Rodriguez, Froylan Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, Abel Rodriguez, Uriel Rodriguez and Moises Rodriguez, all of Mexico; and four sisters, Maria Rodriguez, Genoveva Rodriguez, Leticia Rodriguez and Claudia Rodriguez, all of Mexico. He was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Rodriguez.
