A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Lakewood Memorial Park for Raymond C. Overcash, 71, of Ceres. He died Friday, April 22, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Lakewood Funeral Home.
Born Feb. 14, 1934, Mr. Overcash was a native of Mooresville, N.C.,and lived in Ceres for 21 years. He previously lived in Hayward for 30 years. Mr. Overcash was an ironworker whp belonged to Ironworkers Local Union 378. Mr. Overcash enjoyed traveling and camping.
He leaves behind his wife, Judy Overcash of Ceres; three children, Bobby Overcash of Salida, Gary Overcash of Hickman and Ray Overcash Jr. of La Grange; his mother, Alene Bost of Statesville, N.C.; and 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Overcash; and his identical twin.
