A funeral service was held Saturday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Robert "Wayne"Azevedo, 34, of Langlois, Ore. He died Dec. 30, 2009.
Born Sept. 20, 1975, Wayne was a graduate of Gratton Elementary School and Hughson High School. He worked for Foster Farms for seven years before moving to Oregon five years ago where he worked three years for Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. Mr. Azevedo enjoyed walking on the beach, and collecting shells, rocks and agates. He also loved gazing at the stars and fishing. He was a devoted San Francisco 49ers fan.
He leaves behind his parents, Gabe and Gale Azevedo. He was preceded in death by grandparents Rosco and Roxie Adams and Agostinho and Anna Azevedo.
