A funeral was held Saturday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Rudy J. Garcia, 44, of Ceres. He died Monday, June 20, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Born July 6, 1960, Mr. Garcia was a native of Lindsay and lived in Ceres four years. Mr. Garcia worked in construction for 25 years; he was a foreman.
He leaves behind his wife, Carmen Garcia of Ceres; seven children, Victor Jimenez-Cocio, Victoria Jimenez-Cocio, Lindsay Garcia, Rudy Garcia Jr. and Vincent Garcia, all of Ceres, Sabrina Pierce of Santa Clara and Joey Pierce of Phoenix; two sisters, Andrea Garcia and Julia A. Garcia, both of Sunnyvale; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudy and Angelita Garcia.
