Russel "Bud" Rogers

March 4, 1933 - May 19, 2016

Russel "Bud Rogers, 83, of Ceres passed away on May 19, 2016 at his home, losing his battle with cancer.

A service will be private; a celebration of life is pending.
Bud was born March 4, 1933 in Long Beach. His family moved to Ceres in 1975. Bud enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden and walking in the park each morning with friends. He loved poetry and storytelling. He published his biography "Seeds in the Wind" after he retired.

Bud is survived by his wife of 63 years, Shirley Rogers of Ceres; his daughter, Marsha (Ron) Lane; four sons, Victor (Angela) Rogers, Russ (Beth) Rogers, Daniel (Bev) Rogers and Keith Rogers; his brother-in-law, Ralph "Sonny" Barger (Zorana); and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
