A chapel service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Saroop Grewal, 50, of Ceres. He died Friday, May 14, 2004 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Born Sept. 23, 1953, Mr. Grewal was a native of Singapore and lived in Ceres for 25 years. He was a certified nurse's assistant at Evergreen Rehabilitation Care Center in Modesto for three years.
He leaves behind his wife, Sukhdev Grewal of Ceres; three children, Anoop Grewal, Pawan Grewal and Kiran Grewal, all of Ceres; his brother, Pritam Grewal of Singapore; and two sisters, Manjit Dhaliwal and Surjit Gill, both of Punjab, India.
