Steve Allen Walker

Steve Allen Walker went to be with our Lord on Feb. 28, 2018 after a long battle with cancer.

He was born in Phoenix, Ariz., on Oct. 22, 1952 and was 65 years old when he passed. In 1965 he moved to Ceres with his parents and siblings where he attended Walter White Junior High and graduated from Ceres High School in 1970. He was employed with Bertolotti Disposal for over 27 years.

Steve loved his family and his friends. His passions included cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, camping and being outdoors, spending many summers on the lake with his "houseboating" friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 35 years, Terri Walker; his parents, Edward and Patsy Walker; his brother, Russell Walker (Ingrid); his sister, Vicki Budworth (Bill); his children, Chad Walker (Amanda), Shawn Walker (Shannon), Steven Walker (Erica), and Shannon Parker; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren with a fourth on the way. He was preceded in death by grandparents Samuel and Ovene Walker, and Russell and Syble White, and granddaughter Alexis Breann Thomas.

There will be a Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 25 at Samaritan Village, 7700 Fox Road in Hughson with a potluck following.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations would be most appreciated to help pay for final costs.
