Terry W. Motel

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9 at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel in Modesto for Terry W. Motel, 69, of Ceres. He died May 28, 2015.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the chapel.
Terry was born in Ceres on Jan. 16, 1946 to the late Bill and Margie Motel. He graduated from Ceres High School in 1964. He then joined the Army and became the first distinguished American to graduate from the Alpini Ski School in Northern Italy. He later became a part of the Department of Corrections, which he retired from 30 years later. He had many accomplishments throughout his life.
He leaves behind his wife Madelon Motel; two daughters, Beth Geck and Karin Pena; two brothers, Steve Motel and Gene Raymond; his sister, Wilda Hyer (Norman); and four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild with another on the way.

He will greatly be missed.
