Virginia Maxine Easley passed away on December 9, 2025, in Manteca at the age of 95.
Virginia was born on February 2, 1930, in Fayetteville, Arkansas to parents Hugh and Goldie May Garriott. She was married to the love of her life, George “Bud” Easley, for 65 wonderful years. Virginia worked in food processing for 40 years and some hobbies she enjoyed included gardening and weather patterns. She was known for a large vegetable garden and would put diligent efforts to share her crop with others.
Virginia’s faith was very important to her, and she loved spending time reading her Bible. She was most proud of being a Child of God and followed the Word of the Bible and God in her daily life. She was a devoted wife to George and was very proud to be “George’s wife.” Virginia was a loving wife, sister, and aunt who will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Easley; and her brothers, Junior Garriott (Ceres), Clarence Garriott (Buena Park), and Larry Garriott (Ceres).
There is a visitation scheduled at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home (McHenry Chapel) on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 10 a.m. and a funeral service beginning at 11 a.m.
There will also be a graveside service to follow at Ceres Memorial Park.
