A Mass was held Friday at Lakewood Funeral Home for William "Bill" F. Mills, 61, a longtime resident of Turlock and Hughson and former Hughson city councilman. Mr. Mills died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004 at his Turlock home.
Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Born March 23, 1943 in Salinas, Mr. Mills lived in the Turlock and Hughson area most of his life. He graduated from Turlock High School in 1961. Mr. Mills owned and operated Triad Security Systems, and he served on the Hughson City Council in the 1990s. He enjoyed flying, history and guns. Mr. Mills was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
He leaves behind his wife, Ann Mills of Turlock; five daughters, Heather Stewart of Turlock, Kim Irelan of Stockton, Tracy Castillo of Lodi, and Christine Shell and Cindy Shell, both of Hughson; his mother and stepfather, Evelyn and Lawrence Soltero of Turlock; his sister, Jo Ann Foster of Ceres; and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
