Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Lakewood Funeral Home for William "Roger" Shannon, 61, of Ceres. He died June 29, 2011 in Fair Oaks.
A reception will follow at the Riverside Hall at Lakewood Funeral Home.
Born Aug. 25, 1949 in Modesto, Roger was skilled in cabinet and construction carpentry. He worked as a roofer and painter. Mr. Shannon enjoyed children and animals.
He leaves behind his long-time companion, Lela Feliz of Ceres; his daughter, Kellie Shannon; his sister, Linda Shannon Zenz; and his brother, Danny Shannon. He was preceded in death by son Michael Shannon, parents Lydia and William Shannon.
