Seeing through the smoke and mirrors of politics

Editor, Ceres Courier,

It's refreshing that a newspaper has someone who's right on. I thought of that wizard of oz analogy a long time ago. All smoke and mirrors.

Benziger didn't mention, though, the latest lying campaign ad they've floated now, that Romney killed a woman because of loss of insurance for her husband when Bain Capital was sold. She was working and had insurance with her job for two more years. Then she lost her job and no more insurance; she later got cancer. How much dirtier and lower-sinking can they get - connecting nonexistent dots. I hope people can see through it but I won't hold my breath.

If you can read Jeff Benziger's column in the Ceres Courier, he is so with it, love his column every week.

Helen Sneed
