Expanding government accomplishes nothing

Editor, Ceres Courier,

I am strongly opposed to the government mandated health care bill. I do not feel like government can do a better job at dealing with health care. There should not be an entitlement to health care just like there should not be an entitlement to owning a house. The projected costs for the plan will far exceed the current estimates just like Medicare did when it came into being.

This is another case of jamming something down the citizens' throats without caring what they think. I am also tired of paying for people's expenses. Expanding government never accomplishes anything.

Repeal this bill now!

Gary Bunch,

Woodland
