A community effort for CVHS' 'Every 15 Minutes'

Editor, Ceres Courier,

On behalf of Central Valley High School, the students and staff, I want to thank those who made the "Every 15 Minutes" program possible. In order for this program to be successful it takes school personnel, district personnel and community personnel working together.

Special thanks go to the Every 15 Minutes Committee, California Highway Patrol 's Eric Parsons, California Office of Traffic Safety- (OCS), participants and their parents, American Medical Response's Melanie Martinez and crew, Medi-Flight's Don Campbell, Memorial Hospital Association, Trauma Unit and Personnel, Ceres Department of Public Safety, Sgt. Chris Perry, Sgt. Danny Vierra, Captain Sonny Snyder, Captain Dan Foster, and all fire and police personnel who volunteer for this event, Ceres Police Department chaplains Joel Richards and Billy Bob Muirhead, Stanislaus County Coroner's Office member Tom Killian, Lakewood Memorial Park & Funeral Home, the city of Ceres, Ceres Police Explorers and volunteers, Ceres Unified School District personnel, Ceres High School personnel, Kim Chapman, Kathi Foster, Shellie Coutrakis, Felicia Beard, Dave Johnson, Ashleigh Gabrysha, Starlight Video, Sounds in Motion, "grim reapers" Bryce Stevenson and Carlos Quiroz, Judge - Darrell Long, 5.11 Tactical, Ceres Lions Club, Ceres Pro Tow, CUSD Foundation, Diamond Bar Arena's Shane Parson , Chili's of Turlock, Floral Cottage, Donut Factory, Donut Town, Donut Delite, Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants in Ceres, Little Caesar's Pizza, Food 4 Less, Producers Dairy Foods, Inc., Rancho San Miguel, Sam's Café and Walmart.

Special thanks also go to the CUSD personnel that moved bleachers, translated, donated the bus for transportation, the donation of custodial time and much more.

I would personally like to also thank the Central Valley High School staff. Without your support of this program, it would not be possible. We, the staff, believe in this program because if it saves even one life, it is worthwhile.

Last, but not least, I would like to thank the students and parents who participated in this program. It is an emotional two days for everyone, but especially for the students and their parents.
