I would like to take a moment to thank the Ceres Chamber of Commerce for their efforts to spearhead the Black Tie Charity Ball held last weekend. This was a tremendous event in our community where funds were raised to support our explorer programs for both police and fire. As a member of the public safety family, I am deeply appreciative of the Chamber's efforts to support our own.

Again thank you for your work and I look forward to next year's event.
