Dolphins splashed by Turlock

The Ceres Dolphins competed at home for the first time this season earlier this month.

The recreational swim team lost 1,328-705 to the Turlock Seadogs on June 2 at Ceres High School.

The Dolphins dropped to 2-1 in the MVSL standings.

Ceres' Sammy Ochoa (17-18 boys), Jadyn Shinn (9-10 girls), Jordan Shinn (7-8 boys) and Emma Silveria (7-8 girls) posted a combined record of 12-0 in their individual races.

Sammy Ochoa placed first in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 fly.

Victor Cruz placed second in the 50 free and 100 IM, and third in the 100 free.
