Ceres High's varsity boys and girls track and field teams didn't face much resistance while competing against Pacheco on Wednesday at Bulldog Stadium.

The Bulldogs swept both dual meets.

Ceres High won the girls' competition, 88-47.

The second-place Bulldogs improved to 3-1 in the WAC standings.

Azia Brewster placed first in the 100 hurdles, high jump, triple jump and long jump.

Julia Pata placed first in the shot put and discus.

Carli Gomes placed first in the 300 hurdles and second in the 100.

Destiny Suarez placed first in the 1,600 and second in the 800.

Central Valley's varsity girls track and field team moved into a tie for third-place in the WAC standings with Los Banos after edging last-place Patterson 61-60 on the road this past week.

The Hawks improved to 2-2 in the dual-meet standings.

The Tigers dropped to 0-4.
Mahogany Simon placed first in the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles.

Chetna Kumar placed first in the 200 and 100.
