Head coach Kelly Heese will be staging a volleyball camp for boys and girls, aged 5-18, at Ceres High School next week.

“We’re looking to get athletes from all over,” she said. “It’s not just for CHS athletes.”

The 2022 clinic will run from 4-6 p.m., June 27-30, at Phil de la Porte Gymnasium.

Emphasis will be placed on serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking, serve receive, defense, communication and team work.

“We’re trying to get a hold of athletes at a younger age,” Heese said. “We’ll teach the fundamentals and skills of the game so when they come into high school they’ll have a better opportunity to compete.”

Cost is $50 per athlete.
