Central Valley's varsity girls soccer team pushed its unbeaten streak to 16 games and captured its second straight Western Athletic Conference title this past week.

The Hawks improved to 18-1-1 on the year and 12-0-1 in the WAC after beating Pacheco and Los Banos by a combined score of 18-0.

First-place Central Valley increased its lead to 11 points over second-place Livingston (8-3-2) in the WAC standings.

Anusha Kumar added two goals.

Lopez, Sanchez and Salinas all contributed one goal and one assist.

Emely Lopez had one goal.

The Hawks will close out the regular season with a home contest versus crosstown-rival/second-place Ceres High (9-4-0) this Thursday at Ceres River Bluff Regional Park.

The game will begin at 3 p.m.

Central Valley beat Ceres High 2-1 and 4-1 earlier this year.
