Andres Rojo, Benjamin Barajas, Christian Balderas, Chase Bogart, Sergio Garcia, Patric Senesom and Alejandro Orozco turned in standout individual performances during the Central Valley varsity boys track and field team's 75-60 loss at Los Banos last Wednesday.

The Hawks dropped to 0-2 in the Western Athletic Conference dual-meet standings.

Rojo took first in the 400 and 200.

Barajas took first in the discus.

Balderas took first in the 3,200 and second in the 1,600.

Bogart took first in the 800 and 1,600, and second in the 3,200.

Garcia took first in the pole vault and second in the 100.

Senesom took second in the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles.

Orozco took second in the 800 and third in the 1,600.

Central Valley's varsity girls track and field team enjoyed individual success during Wednesday's 84-50 setback at Los Banos.

Sisters Chetna and Anusha Kumar led the 0-2 Hawks.

Chetna took first in the long jump and second in the 100.

Anusha took first in the 100 and second in the 200.

Kimberly Hernandez took first in the discus, second in the long jump and third in the shot put.

Mykayla Arcenal took second in the shot put.

Anmolpreet Sangha took second in the discus.

Emily Curiel took third in the 100.

Esther Esceverri took third in the 200.

Jasmine Singh took third in the 400.
