Ceres High's frosh-soph girls volleyball team kept its unblemished record in Western Athletic Conference play intact this past week.

Host Ceres High edged crosstown-rival Central Valley 25-14, 24-26, 15-10 on Oct. 10 at Phil de la Porte Gymnasium.

The Bulldogs improved to 13-2 overall and 11-0 in the conference standings.

"The whole being undefeated in the WAC is stressful," Ceres High head coach Meliesa Stiles said. "I know it's a huge accomplishment but I feel the girls play safe instead of to their potential. This has been a topic we have been talking about a lot."

Bulldog Mya Robinson had 12 digs, three kills and one ace against the Hawks.

Samantha Carvajal had 10 digs, four kills and one ace.

Genesis Ochoa had 10 aces.

Kyara Rodriguez had eight assists.

Siriana Gudino had six kills.

Isabel Macias had two kills.

Isabel Diazdeleon had two blocks.

Visiting Ceres High rallied for a 23-25, 25-20, 15-12 win over Los Banos on Wednesday.

"Scary situation," Stiles said.

Kyara Rodriguez led the Bulldogs with 16 digs and 12 assists.

Yanelli Rodriguez had 15 digs.

Robinson had 11 digs and three kills.

Gudino had four kills and four blocks.

Ochoa had three aces.
