Central Valley High School's varsity boys tennis team earned a Western Athletic Conference series sweep of Pacheco last week.
The Hawks posted a 7-2 victory over the Panthers on Wednesday in Ceres.
Central Valley defeated Pacheco 6-3 earlier this year.
The Hawks didn't underestimate the Panthers. Pacheco upset Central Catholic 5-4 on March 25.
"There was a little concern," Central Valley head coach Mike Rodriguez said. "At this point in the season, every team has gotten a lot better. We played our hardest. We took care of business."
Oscar Ornales secured the match-clinching win for the Hawks.
Ornales' 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 victory at No. 6 singles gave Central Valley a 5-0 lead in team scoring.
"Oscar got a little more focused," Rodriguez said. "He broke the other guy's will."
Central Valley took five of six singles and two of three doubles matches from Pacheco.
