The Hawks improved to 4-3 on the year.

"They were much bigger than us," Central Valley head coach Jesse Padilla said. "I was surprised they didn't post us up. They would have destroyed us."

Hawk Mikayla Mabie collected 20 points, four rebounds and two assists. She made six of her eight free throws.

Lindsey Alexander tallied 14 points, one rebound and one steal. She buried two of four

Heaven Simon had a career-high 10 points, to go along with four assists, four steals and one rebound.

Alyssa Costa totaled seven points, nine rebounds, one block and one steal.

Celest Lepe chipped in with seven points, four rebounds, three assists and one steal.

"It's always a plus to have three players score in double figures," Padilla said. "They did a good job."

Central Valley outscored Oakdale in every quarter.

"We got to the baskets and made our layups," Padilla said. "We ran our plays right."
