Ceres High third place in Academic Decathlon event

Ceres High School placed third in the 36th Stanislaus County Academic Decathlon held last Saturday, Feb. 6 at Davis High School in Modesto.

For the 16th consecutive year Oakdale High finished with first place while Hughson High School was the runner up team. Oakdale also won the Super Quiz.

Beyer High School won the School Club award and Most Improved Team award.

David Nall of Hughson High was the first place Varsity Champion.

The first place Scholastic Champion honor went to Caitlin Golding of Oakdale High School while her teammate Taryn Lane was the first place Honors Champion.

Katherine Pacioni of Enoch High School was the Alternate Team Member Champion.
