Rotarians honor Destiny Suarez

Ceres High School senior Destiny Suarez was honored as the Ceres Rotary Club’s “Student of the Month” on Nov. 3.

Destiny always wears a contagious smile and is always willing to help those around her. She is currently involved in several clubs on campus including Mu Alpha Theta, Science Club, CSF, Dance club, and Leadership. She has demonstrated success in the classroom by maintaining a 3.6 GPA and is recognized throughout the school campus as a leader amongst her peers, and as a varsity athlete on the cross country team.  Destiny has volunteered her time reading to elementary students and has provided math tutoring to her peers. She is proud of being able to help students find themselves and also be a basis of what students look up to. Destiny aspires to become a nurse who will nurture and provide the best she can for everyone she gets the opportunity to help.
