Scott Thomas Welch

Scott Thomas Welch, 75, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026.

Scott was born on Oct. 10, 1950 to Marion and Hursle Welch in Modesto.

Along with his family, Scott was most proud of his business, Scott’s Pool Repair and Remodeling that he operated for more than 30 years. He also had fond memories of his wrestling days at Ceres High where he graduated in 1968.

Scott leaves behind his wife Sheryl, daughter Darcee Giottonini, bonus children Brittany Varin (David), Kelly Meyer (Scott), Andrew Yoder (Sagan) and 10 amazing grandchildren who brightened his days.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Jim and Steve Welch.

A Celebration of Life will be held at United Samaritan Foundation Community Center in Hughson on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at 10:30 a.m.
