International Education Exchange is looking for a host family for a male student from Germany who was going to attend Ceres High in 2014-15.
He is already registered as an upperclassman at school but the family that intended to host him had to back out.
"I've been bringing students over for 11 years," said Cheryl Gomes Williams, area representative for the Fresno/Clovis non-profit high school exchange organization. "They love coming to this area. There are so many things to do. He's just looking for a family to be with as long as they pass a background check.School starts next week. He can't come over until an actual home is found for him. That's my responsibility. I had a family for him. Unfortunately, they had to back out because of a family situation that came up."
The German male exchange student has expressed a desire to play football, tennis and baseball.
"I've placed seven students in Ceres schools in the past," Gomes Williams said. "They're great with kids."
