Has it been a while since you’ve seen a dentist? You might be interested in a free dental clinic to take place at the Modesto Centre Plaza Oct. 26 and 27. The event is hosted by the California Dental Association Foundation.

Services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis with with a goal of providing care to about 1,900 people during the two-day clinic. Doors open at 5:30 a.m.

Services offered are limited to extractions, fillings, cleanings, some partial and full dentures, limited root canals, oral health education and assistance in finding a source for future dental care. Uncontrolled blood pressure or diabetes may prevent patients from receiving dental care at the event so it’s advised that anyone take prescribed medications as directed.

Parking for the event is free and no identification is required. Interpreters are available to assist those who do not speak English.
