Ceres has six car washes now that Quick Quack Car Wash has opened at 2850 Service Road inside the Ceres Gateway Center.

The car wash facility consists of a 3,596 square foot building with a three-lane drive-thru operation to accommodate up to 21 vehicles, 19 vacuum stalls, 10 parking spaces for employees and visitors and landscaping.

The Ceres Chamber of Commerce will be officially welcoming the new business with a ribbon-cutting event set for 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9.

Quick Quack Car Wash is based in Roseville and has operations in Utah, Texas, Colorado, Arizona, and California with over 160 total locations. In 2008, Quick Quack Car Wash was listed on Inc. Magazine’s fastest growing companies.

The new business opens daily 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and in the summer will operate from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily with approximately four employees on duty.

Quick Quack offers a clean car guarantee so that if a customer is not satisfied with the quality of the wash, they can come right back for a free wash. A free wash is offered if it rains within 48 hours of the first wash.

Customers who plan to wash their cars more than twice a month could save money when they enroll in an unlimited car wash membership.

The company offers three tiers of car wash quality, good, better and best. The basic wash is $11.99 with unlimited washes for the month at $21.99.

The “best” wash that features triple foam, rain repellent, wheel bright and tire shine, undercarriage rest inhibitor and finish wax, costs $21.99 for a single wash or $31.99 unlimited for the month.

Customers can add up to four cars from the same household to the membership for $20 per vehicle per month.

Quick Quack was approved by the Ceres Planning Commission on Feb. 21, 2022 despite commissioners’ concerns that Ceres has too many car washes. But Commissioner Bob Kachel said the company apparently didn’t believe that was the case and was willing to invest in Ceres. The project broke ground in August 2022.

Coming additions to the Ceres Gateway Center are a Tractor Supply, Woodspring Inn & Suites and a Union 76 gas station and convenience store.

The center also has one remaining fast food pad that can be developed south of the Starbucks restaurant.
