A Patterson man sustained major injuries Friday morning in a motorcycle accident in front of the Winco distribution facility on Crows Landing Road.
Sergio Zaragoza, 24, was driving northbound on Crows Landing Road south of Service Road at approximately 55 mph when a motorist pulled out in front of his path and they collided. The California Highway Patrol said that Benjamin Arroyo, 24, of Modesto, pulled out from the Winco exit to make a left turn onto Crows Landing Road but apparently did not see Zaragoza. The motorcycle and the 2000 Nissan collided and Mr. Zaragosa was ejected and sustained serious injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
The crash took place at 5:55 a.m.
