No suspects have been arrested in connection with the May 3, 2007 death of a tow truck driver in South Modesto. Police officials are hoping that an artist sketch of the suspect will do the trick.

Christopher Sisk, 31, died of injuries he sustained while falling under the wheels of his tow truck as he tried to prevent its theft in front of Swaid's Food & Gas in the 800 block of West Hatch Road. Sisk had stopped into the store for a cup of coffee at approximately 10 p.m. While he was still inside, Sisk saw someone sitting in the driver's seat of his truck and bolted outside to stop the theft. Sisk jumped on the vehicle in an attempt to get inside and fell off, his chest and head falling under the wheels.

Sisk was rushed to Doctors Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

About an hour later, law enforcement officer found the pickup abandoned on Lombardy Street in Modesto.

The police sketch comes with this physical description of the suspect: a black male in his early 20s, standing about 6 feet tall, wearing dark clothing and a white bandana or T-shirt wrapped on his head.
