A graveside service was held Friday at Acacia Memorial Park for Angela Ruiz, 33, of Modesto. She was found dead April 13 in the Tuolumne River.
Eaton Family Funeral & Cremation Service was in charge of arrangements.
Born Jan. 4, 1972, Ms. Ruiz was a native of Tracy and lived in Modesto for 33 years. She was a certified nurse assistant and worked at Colony Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for two years. Mrs. Ruiz was a 1990 graduate of Modesto High School. She enjoyed animals and gardening.
She leaves behind her parents, Carolyn Ruiz of Modesto and Joe Ruiz of Turlock; her brother, Christopher Ruiz of Turlock; and grandmother, Lydia Ruiz of Tracy.
