Visitation will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., today with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Lakewood Funeral Home for Carlos O. Olguin, 66, of Ceres. He died Oct. 2, 2009 in Modesto.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Templo Rosa De Saron, 421 Rio Grande, Modesto, with burial to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park with military honors. Lakewood Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Born Feb. 15, 1943 in Mexico to Carlos and Belen Olguin, Carlos was employed by PG&E as an electrical engineer when he retired after 36 years. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War and attained the rank of Specialist 5.

He leaves behind his wife Maria Olguin of Ceres; his children, Darlene Olguin, Carl Olguin and Richie Olguin; two brothers, Bruno and Jose; five sisters, Ema, Eva, Maria, Hortencia and Raquel Olguin; and six grandchildren, Cassandra Olguin, Carlos Olguin, Dominic Olguin, Christian Olguin, Alyssa Olguin and Keilana Olguin.
