A funeral was held Friday morning at Ceres Christian Church for Clifford James Pride, 22, of Modesto. He died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004 in Chesapeake, Va.
A graveside service followed at Ceres Memorial Park under the direction of Cunningham's Affordable Burial & Cremation Center.
Born Aug. 27, 1981, Mr. Pride was a native of Turlock and lived in Modesto for two years. He previously lived in Ceres for 20 years. Mr. Pride was a personal caregiver at a special needs home. He graduated from Ceres High School in 2000. He was a member of Ceres Christian Church. Mr. Pride enjoyed cooking, hot rods and dogs.
He leaves behind his parents, Kenneth and Jo Ann Pride of Modesto; six sisters, Gratia Aguilar and Helen Flemming, both of Aurora, Colo., Angelina Aguilar and Gayle Norquist, both of Chesapeake, and Lydia Perez and Anita Perez, both of Modesto; and grandmothers, Helen Pride and Kay Smith, both of Modesto.
