A graveside service was held Saturday at Lakewood Memorial Park for Hobert Baldwin, 85, of Hughson. He died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Lakewood Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Born Sept. 5, 1920, Mr. Baldwin was a native of London, Ky., and lived in Hughson since 1957 and previously lived in Oregon and Washington. He was a farmworker for more than 40 years. Mr. Baldwin was an Army veteran of World War II.
He leaves behind his wife, Ellen Baldwin of Hughson; his brother, Roy Lee Baldwin of Clarksville, Ind.; and two sisters, Eula Smith of Granite City, Ill., and Joyce House of Alton, Ill.
