A funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel in Modesto for Ida Belle Holly Beason, 73, of Ceres. She died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004 at Memorial Medical Center.

Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Born June 13, 1931, Mrs. Beason was a native of Dumas, Texas, and had lived in Ceres since 1973. She previously lived in Modesto. Mrs. Beason was a homemaker, and a member of the Moose Lodge, Modesto. She enjoyed playing bingo, fishing and camping.

She leaves behind three children, Samuel R. Beason of Cave Junction, Ore., Janet B. Donaldson of Ceres and Deborah Joslin of Bristow, Okla.; three brothers, Steve Holly of Modesto, Leon Holly of Escalon and Kenneth Holly of San Diego; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel H. Beason; daughter Teresa E. Beason; and one sister.
