A graveside service was held Friday at Lakewood Memorial Park for Joyce Lee Glover Smith, 75, of Ceres. She died Monday, Nov. 1, 2004 at her home.
Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Born June 3, 1929, Mrs. Smith was a native of Memphis, Texas. She had lived in Ceres since 2003 and previously lived in Modesto 62 years. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker.
She leaves behind her husband, Abrom Smith of Modesto; her daughter, Linda Garrett of Ceres; six stepchildren, Robert Smith, Kenny Smith, David Smith and Michael Smith, all of Modesto, Charlene Smith of Washington and Mary Smith of Las Vegas; her brother, James Glover of Modesto; two sisters, Terarine Bagley of Hughson and Edith Collins of Oakdale; and three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
