A graveside service was held Monday at Lakewood Memorial Park for Kenneth W. Brace, 49, of Hughson. He died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005 at his home. Lakewood Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Born April 7, 1955, Mr. Brace was a native of San Jose and lived in Hughson for 40 years. He was a truck driver and coached Little League baseball. Mr. Brace also filmed Downey High School football games and was an Oakland Raiders fan.

Mr. Brace's wife apparently committed suicide on Tuesday morning when she walked into the path of a freight train in Hughson, Stanislaus County Sheriff's deputies said.

He leaves behind his three children, Kevin T. Brace of Hughson, and Timothy D. Brace and Teresa Brace, both of Fresno; three brothers, Ron Brace of Hughson, David Brace of Ceres and Ken Davidson Jr. of Elk Grove; two sisters, Debra Clover of Modesto and Pattie Fayad of Turlock; and three grandchildren.
