A memorial service was held at Geneva Presbyterian Church in Modesto on Sunday for Kolby L. Kinney, 58, of Ceres. He died unexpectedly at his home on Dec. 3, 2011.
Born Jan. 6, 1953, Kolby grew up in South Dakota and eventually moved to Modesto attending High School at Downey High School. He later moved to Ceres. Mr. Kinney was a brick mason. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, camping, fishing, and being outdoors.
He leaves behind his daughter, Angela Kinney; his mother, Gene Miller; his sister, Kathy Grimaldi; his brother, Barry Kinney; his step-daughter, Kimberly Nicholson; his step-son, Joe Cockrell; and his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by father Don Kinney.
