Locke Sedwick

A chapel service was held Sept. 6 at Lakewood Funeral Home Chapel for Locke "Ed" Sedwick, 84, of Modesto. He died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005 at Hy-Lond Convalescent Hospital.

Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Born March 23, 1921, Mr. Sedwick was a native of Illinois and lived in Modesto for 18 years and previously lived in Ceres for six years. He owned a farm. Mr. Sedwick enjoyed travel, and visited all 50 states. He was a veteran of the Navy, serving during World War II as an electrician.

Mr. Sedwick leaves behind his wife, Edith Sedwick of Modesto; four children, Beth Medeiros of Livermore, Larry Frakes of Tennessee, Mikle Sedwick of Modesto and Lossee Sedwick of Knoxville, Ill.; and three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
