A funeral was held Monday at First Southern Baptist Church in Ceres for Lorene A. Bartlett, 88, of Ceres. She died Nov. 28, 2011 in Ceres.
Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park under the director of the Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs
Born May 8, 1923 to Clifford and Violet Sneed in Missouri, Lorene came to California with her family as a young girl and made her home in Ceres in 1985. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Ceres for many years. Mrs. Barlett enjoyed working in the food ministry at the church.
She leaves behind her brother, Paul Sneed of Turlock; and her sister, Thelma Hildebrand of Modesto. She was preceded in death by husband LeRoy Bartlett, brothers Gene Sneed, Chet Sneed and sister Freda Atkinson.
